How do you define educational equity?
I think educational equity is about ensuring every student has the opportunity to succeed, no matter their background or circumstances. It's about recognizing that each student is unique and may need different resources and support to thrive. By addressing individual needs, we can close achievement gaps and create fair outcomes for all. This means not just providing equal access, but actively working to remove barriers and promote inclusivity. Educational equity is a commitment to systemic change, challenging biases, and fostering an environment where every student can reach their full potential.
